I'm just starting out, but I'm also determined to learn Lisp...and while I'll someday be interested in distributing executables, for me the biggest problem I have to come to grips with is the library mess! How the heck do I find libraries that do what I want, and how do I install them? I'm inclined to think that if *this* could be solved, the "standalone" executables will be easier to deal with. So far, though, I like the language. I don’t see this as the biggest problem with Lisp.
